Production of food, construction of buildings and manufacture of other commodities require energy. If the energy prices were lower the sales prices of commodities and services could be reduced and peoples purchasing power would increase. Consequently peoples salary could be reduced withouth loss of purchasing power. This could again result in lower sales prices of commodities and services and following increased purchasing power.
Would not lower energy prices be beneficial for everyone?
