We are committed to Ethical AI - so should You for a better Future

We are humbled so many People find our AI powered Search engine & Social network to be of great use, where millions of People use them to get answers to whatever they want to know. People like our AI powered answers because they are very informative and also very engaging since we launched our Conversational AI. But other reason is that as the only non-profit AI powered Search engine & Social network operated as a Public service, we are committed to Ethical AI. Because although mathematical equations calculating word probabilities that power AI answers, never shift on their own, the data does on continuous basis. So if the data contains gaps, stereotypes, or historical imbalances, aka biases, AI will learn those flaws and biases as facts.

So Ethical AI is critical because AI systems increasingly influence major decisions affecting employment, healthcare, criminal justice, finance, politics, and even war and peace. Without ethical guardrails, AI can perpetuate discrimination, violate privacy, spread hate speech, and even stoke the flames of war rather than promote peace - causing unintended harm on a massive scale. And this is the core issue: that is AI can do immense good at scale, but it can also do immense harm at scale.

What are our core Principles of Ethical AI

Fairness
- Ensuring AI systems don't discriminate against individuals or groups based on race, gender, religion
Stop Ageism in Hiring
- AI agents are systematically rejecting Job applications from anyone in their 40s and older - we need Ethical AI to stop AI powered Ageism
Transparency
- Making AI decision-making processes understandable to users and avoiding "black box" algorithms
Accountability
- Establishing clear responsibility for AI system outcomes and having mechanisms to address harms
Privacy
- Your data must remain protected, secured, throughout the AI lifecycle. And you should never be tracked via AI ever deeper knowledge of who you are
People control
- Ensure AI systems do not displace ultimate human responsibility and accountability

We are working toward the above Ethical principles for information Gateway of AI, as we have done the same for 20+ years for Search engine & Social network information Gateways, but we need you - Get Involved.

- Advocate for sensible AI laws - Big AI is using its immense money and power over current US Government to oppose regulation, do not accept this, demand AI regulation as drafted by the EU
Join advocacy groups
- such as those that are conducting independent research and pushing for AI standards - we are including 3 sources in the reference section below
Unionize & Organize
- If your employment and work conditions are affected by AI take collective action via Unions
Support Us
- Big AI talks the "good Talk" about "Ethical AI", but unless we have a non-profit choice such as Anoox AI committed to Ethical AI, history of technology has shown us otherwise. So either support us or support other non-profit AI powered Search engines. Since currently we are only such Choice, then support Us, until other Choices become available.

Anoox Ethical AI Commitment is Open to Public Input

Anoox Ethical AI isn't about claiming perfection. It is about our commitment to this very necessary, important, and extremely difficult objective of attaining Ethical AI. Our Ethical AI Commitment is therefore about measuring, exposing, correcting, and continuously improving this LLM AI system, with the realization that: AI can do immense good at scale, but it can also do immense harm at scale.

So the key for an AI system to do far more good than harm is for it to continuously learn and correct based on strict Ethical standards and data. With that said, the fact is that the goal of attaining Ethical AI is beyond the means of a small non-profit such as Anoox, and it is practically impossible for any Big AI company to deliver Ethical AI on its own.

As a result, Anoox is opening its Ethical AI process to governments, universities, researchers, civil-society organizations, and the public to contribute toward the goal of attaining Ethical AI. We welcome your ideas, criticism, research, testing, data, and suggestions for how we can improve this process.
